Cambridge Road, Whetstone, Leicester

Overview: Our first project in the East Midlands. We transformed a disused brownfield site into 49 affordable and sustainable homes just off Cambridge Road, in the centre of Whetstone village. Our shared project with Midland Heart, consists of one-, two- and three-bedroom properties, all completed with a timber frame construction throughout, as well as the installation of a new park and green spaces. Throughout the build, we implemented an effective recycling and segregation system with Bakers Environmental Solutions, reinforcing our mission to become better tomorrow makers. This development will help to meet the growing demand for affordable housing in South Leicestershire and contribute to the national housing shortage through developing homes that are affordable to rent or that are shared ownership.
